Aaron was named for his grandfather, Aaron was a blacksmith by trade and lived on a farm. His wife Elizabeth's ancesters came from the east of the Mts. and settled on the Cheat River along the Mason Dixon line. Their name was Selsor. They had a little Girl named Elizabeth.
Elizabeth's father went hunting with a friend one day. While out they found a large rock stand at the edge of the pond it was really deep. Mr Selsor dove from rhe top but never appeared on the surface of the lake. After demarcation set in the body became lighter and rose to the surface. Near Lake Lynn Power Plant. He Drowened in W. Va. and was found in Pa.
Elizabeth Selsor married Aaron Brooks of German descent. They had 3 boys and 4 girls, names (James, George, John, Polly, Betsy, Elizabeth, & name unknow) Aaron Brooks lived to be 101 years old.
